Updated demo and news about the development


Hello again!

I'd like to share some info about the current state of this project.

Right now I am working on the second level of the game.

A new weapon is almost implemented (a double barrel shotgun), but I need some new enemies to test it on, so this is what I'll be focusing on right now.

I've also partially fixed the first level of the game - meaning almost all of the stuttes are gone - tweaked some gun lighting and enemy animations.

I'm probably going to tinker with it some more, but I also think that it would be a good idea to release the updated demo version with these fixes - and so I did today.

So what I did for the new demo release (and the main game of course):

- fixed most of the stutters,

- removed all particle instances,

- put animations instead of particles,

- created new animations for zombies - now they lay down when shot and explode with a light and a "bloody mess ball" when touched

- muzzle flash is different - it looks more realistic with better light propagation

- removed switching guns using mouse - this proved to be somewhat problematic

- machine gun no longer shoots the same spot - it has been kinda randomized

- swamp monsters now bleed red blood

I highly encourage everyone to give this new demo a try.
